Angela Larimer is a highly skilled family law attorney, who also specializes in Litigation, Mediation and Collaboration. Whether your issues are simple or complex, Angela can assist you in gaining clarity and understanding in what can seem a confusing and overwhelming process. Angela helps you resolve your unique family law situation, including divorce, child support, parenting time and decision making, alimony (now known as maintenance), parentage and paternity issues, post divorce enforcement of orders, modification of existing orders, premarital and postmarital agreements and adoptions. Angela works directly with you to empower you with the knowledge to make wise decisions and identify which method is best for your desired outcome.
Angela’s Affiliations, Education and Memberships
Angela is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois, and the Association of Family and Conciliatory Courts. Cook, Dupage and Lake County judges regularly appoint Angela to serve as a Child Representative or Guardian ad Litem for minor childres in domestic relations cases. Angela also serves as a Child Representative and Guardian Ad Litem for Chicago Volunteer Legal Services where she works pro bono for Chicago area’s less fortunate. She received her law degree from DePaul College of Law. Angela obtained a double bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Rhetoric from the University of Illinois and a teaching certificate, a license which she keeps active, from NorthEastern Illinois University in Chicago. Angela regularly attends Litigation, Collaboration, Mediation and Family Law seminars led by judges, experts, and legislative authorities to hone her skills and to keep up on cutting edge resolutions, issues, laws and technology to advance the cause of those who seek her assistance.
